My name is Andrea Ruiz and I am a Trust Officer at Exchange Bank. I have been with the bank for 5 years and in my role, my responsibilities include administrating and managing a case load of trust accounts and estate settlements. I administer them to ensure that they are compliant with applicable governing terms, laws and policies. Additionally, I provide oversight of annual tax reporting and reviewing security trades for money management purposes. My book of accounts include living trusts, CRT’s, ILITs, irrevocable trusts, and SNTs. Prior to joining Exchange Bank, I was a paralegal at a law firm for 3 years in which I provided legal and administrative support for a civil litigation and mitigation law firm by assisting with preparing legal documents, legal memoranda, and preparing and filing pleadings.
