I received my CPA certificate in 1977 after completing the required education, passing the CPA exam, and fulfilling the 2- year experience requirement at Arthur Andersen & Co. in San Francisco. I then was a senior manager at Pisenti & Brinker in Santa Rosa from 1978 to 1982, at which time I left to open my own CPA practice. In all my time as a CPA I have been involved in assisting clients to form and execute estate plans in whatever form was appropriate to their needs.

In 1999 I graduated from Empire College School of Law and passed the Bar that summer. I completed all the paperwork to be licensed by the Bar in 2001. At that time, I started estate planning from the points of view of both a lawyer and a CPA. I was fortunate to have a number of “big brothers” in the legal profession to help me get started and to coach me in developing my skills and my clientele.

My strengths are in planning and strategizing, considering the specific situations and circumstances of my clients. I emphasize good decision‑making in estate planning matters, and advise my clients accordingly, from a position of many years of experience and wisdom gained.
