Bridging Perspectives: Estate Planning Across Cultures & the Value of the AEP® Designation

REEPC is proud to kick off the new year with a special presentation by Kit Mac Nee, CFP®, AEP®, QPFC , Past President of the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC) and Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley’s Envision Legacy Group .

In this engaging evening, Kit will share her unique perspective on the importance of cross‑cultural understanding in estate planning , and how professionals can more effectively serve diverse families and communities. She’ll also discuss the AEP® (Accredited Estate Planner) designation — what it means, why it matters, and how it helps elevate professionalism and collaboration within the estate planning field.

This session will inspire professionals to think beyond technical planning and into the human, cultural, and relational dimensions that shape every estate plan.

Kit Mac Nee, CFP®, AEP®, QPFC is a nationally recognized wealth advisor and thought leader in the estate planning community. With more than 20 years of experience, she has worked with families, donors, and charitable organizations to build financial legacies that align with both values and vision.

As part of Morgan Stanley’s Envision Legacy Group , Kit and her team manage over $750 million in assets and provide holistic financial guidance rooted in empathy, expertise, and education.

Kit’s career includes leadership roles in charitable planning, financial advising, and national estate planning associations. She is a passionate advocate for financial literacy, philanthropy, and intergenerational legacy building.
